Before the season even started, just about all Hawkeye fans figured the Holiday Bowl was our most likely post-season destination if we had a typical 7-8 win year. The 9-win year had some hoping for Orlando vs. 'Bama, and bid restrictions had some concerned about falling to Santa Clara, yet here we are.....
