No buying it.Mario Crystalball says its Iowa
It isDavid Eickholt has submitted a Crystal Ball in favor of Iowa for 2025 recruit. Comments suggest that it is Iose.

Did he commit?It is
Watch his brother? He wouldn't have gone to the scrimmage today if he was going to commit somewhere else.
I mean, it’s not over until he signs, but it’s a great sign.Hope it happens but I'm going to need more then just an Eickholt CB he tends to jump the gun
In a scrimmage that he probably barely saw the field. Eric is what a 4th or 5th team LB? I know he plays some specials. I have to agree(keeping those fingers and toes crossed) that lose is not going to this scrimmage if he's sold on committing to Miami or Utah State or wherever.Watch his brother?
I just never give two shakes what those rankings say. We've had so many 3 stars and walkons be all conf and play in the pros, and we've had 4 and 5 stars who never did shit at Iowa. I'd love for lose to end up a Hawk, but we'll be fine either wayHawks need all sorts of recruiting help. Rivals has them 18th in the Big10! Recruiting rankings aren't everything and Rivals is just one of many recruiting sites but dead last is dead last and there is no spinning that!
Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out quantity matters. At this point Iowa has the fewest in conf. and is expected to have one of its smallest classes in last 20 years. Do you really think that just because army and Georgia st have lot more players their classes are actually better? Just takes 2-3 more additions and if one is Iose and Iowa vaults up so many spots.Hawks need all sorts of recruiting help. Rivals has them 18th in the Big10! Kakert also just made his prediction for Iowa.David Eickholt has submitted a Crystal Ball in favor of Iowa for 2025 recruit. Comments suggest that it is Iose.
Actually he is very consevative on his predictions. Not saying it is a guarantee, but he is very slow on making predictions.Wouldn't that be great?
Although we've seen Eikholt make an initial prediction and then change it.
He was wrong once, so he can never be trusted for eternity.Actually he is very consevative on his predictions. Not saying it is a guarantee, but he is very slow on making predictions.

How long has it been since a 5-star didn’t pan out in Iowa City? 20 years? Yeah..I just never give two shakes what those rankings say. Why would anyone try to positively or negatively put a spin on the current rankings when it's still not even 90% complete across the nation? Considering that's exactly what you're doing.
2 years ago, or this spring. Or both. I'm not sure how the math works for the Bama boy.How long has it been since a 5-star didn’t pan out in Iowa City? 20 years? Yeah..
Recruit rankings generally matter a great deal and are indicative of not only potential but results.
You’re counting him as an Iowa Hawkeye? No way, no how.2 years ago, or this spring. Or both. I'm not sure how the math works for the Bama boy.
Iowa could have one of their highest quality classes ever, and it won’t be ranked very high.90%? Most classes in the top 75 are at least 60% full (including Iowa).
I’d say it’s a bit too early to panic, however a ranking of 67th in mid August is less than ideal.
.
I mean he was a 5 star and he didn't pan out in Iowa City. Was he ever a hawk? No.You’re counting him as an Iowa Hawkeye? No way, no how.
Okay, I'll play. How many three stars or less has Iowa out into the NFL? Dan Doering was a 5 star in some services and was a huge get over Michigan, and he did bubkas at Iowa. 5 years. Hardly 20 huh?How long has it been since a 5-star didn’t pan out in Iowa City? 20 years? Yeah..

My point being we will get what we do. Sitting here moaning because we don't generally land the "OSU" type players is a fools errand, and we have been pretty damn successful with the guys we do land. We've had some pretty decent 4 star players (several in the current OL room believe it or not). As for the 5 stars that KF HAS landed it's been a pretty mixed bag of results and a bit snake bitten. From the 2005 class three such players. Tony Moeaki. Great TE who struggled to stay healthy. Could have been a great pro if his injuries didn't follow him to the league. Blake Larson. Never played any signifcant time at Iowa and medically retired from football as a junior. He's a police officer in KC. Dace Richardson had a decent career at Iowa, but struggled with injuries as well. Had a NFL try out and didn't stick. Played in the arena football league for awhile. He's a day trader in Des Moines. Matt Roth. Came in as a highly touted LB and switched to DE. Had a storied career at Iowa. Played in the NFL for several teams. AJ Epenesa. Highest ranked recruit at Iowa. Very solid career at Iowa obviously. Didn't test as well as every one thought he would at the combine and slid to the 2nd round Good career going with the Bills as a reserve DE/outside LB. Then of course there's Kyle "bone crusher" Williams who was actually Iowa's highest 5 star under Kirk. Was declared academically inelgible and kicked off the team within weeks for some locker room incident. Somehow Purdue picked him up for a season or two. Ended up serving a ten year sentence in prison on a rape conviction. Should we continue to land the right 5 star players? Sure. And we do land some pretty decent 4 star lineman, and lose would be a welcome addition as a 5 star. Its the skilled players where we lack that punch, (although we have landed a number of 4 star RB's and TE's).5-star players v 3-star players…
I can’t believe this is a disagreement 🤷🏼♂️
I’m moving on.

Where I think Iowa could make some headway is in the portal with 4/5 star skilled players who land at OSU/Bama etc.. and don't get much run in a stacked lineup. (See Brown from OSU now).
Well at least your signature was accurate. Funny how you disregarded 90% of what I posted. Your just one of these posters who wants what he's never going to get, (Iowa with a bunch of 5 star players) and then wants to bitch because the thing that was never going to happen has eluded him once again. We'd all like to sign the best players possible. You act like there's no effort being made to do that. Or that Iowa isn't one of only 8 teams in ALL of college football to win more then 8 games a year for the last 8 years in a row. We DO win games, and we will keep winning. Whether we're signing 5 star players or not. But be happy in your sadness if thats your thing....Lol, this was never being questioned Captain Obvious.
We definitely get the players that we get….the players we don’t get chose to go elsewhere and the players we get chose Iowa. Those are the players we play with.
Sincerely,
Kamala Harris

It was a waste of your time to go further than “we get what we get.”Well at least your signature was accurate. Funny how you disregarded 90% of what I posted. And to your point we aren't Bama, Georgia, Michigan, or OSU, thats MY goddamn point, and the only one thats relevant. We never have been and probably never will be. Pissing and moaning about it is futile nonsense. It was a waste of your time to go further than “we get what we get.”
That’s when I realized we are on totally different wavelengths here.
Bottom line and MY goddamn point from my first comment: Georgia is full of higher-starred recruits. They win titles. Alabama? Michigan? Same thing.
Iowa full of three stars beats the cellar-dwellers consistently and then gets stomped by the likes of Michigan. It’s not rocket science.
Oh and just a reminder…I know we get what we get.

Yep, that’s why he put in a crystal ball. He’s pretty sure, but he hasn’t given a verbal yet.confidence level medium (5). Sounds like he's really sure about this.
