KF’s age has to already be effecting recruiting. He will be sixety nine (69!) years old at the start the season. Let’s be honest, that isn’t a selling point for a high school prospect considering the Hawks.Using Iose as the example, if he wants to play for KFz and Parker you'd think he'd ask KFz if he was going to be around another 4 years. Sure he could always transfer, but I think most players would rather not.
Not sure what you mean by "Kirk ain't lying". I doubt he'd tell a kid "I plan to be here for your entire career" if he didn't mean it. But no coach knows exactly when he's going to retire so there's always honesty in a generic answer. KFz isn't going to say I've got 2 more years out loud. It would kill recruiting.
Regardless, you have to know recruits are wondering about it. If the offense sucks again this Fall...the timeline could easily shift.
Yes. He is not Saban.KF’s age has to already be effecting recruiting. He will be sixety nine (69!) years old at the start the season. Let’s be honest, that isn’t a selling point for a high school prospect considering the Hawks.
I wonder how many meals Kirk has had at the Epenesa house over the years and vice versa. Seriously like family between the two.Using Iose as the example, if he wants to play for KFz and Parker you'd think he'd ask KFz if he was going to be around another 4 years. Not trying to be negative, but if the program was at an elite level the age thing probably wouldn't be as relevant. But yes that day will come, hoping for a great transition and great Hawkeye ambassador.Yes. He is not Saban.
Of course, it will and possibility of losing him to the highest bidder.I saw a podcast yesterday and that is what Tom Loy is saying. I'm thinking NIL could play into this a bit.
That is the game we are playing now and unfortunately it will cost Iowa a lot of top end playersOf course, it will and possibility of losing him to the highest bidder.
On one hand I hear what you're saying and on the other I'm pretty sure that family is well aware of Kirk's business model. The day-to-day interaction with him is minimal. You're walking into his school not his classroom. The staff stresses this model as well as all the other critical aspects of the progrum that recruits need to understand in order commit with informed consent.KF’s age has to already be effecting recruiting. I thought he already released a top 10?

Meh. I think the U is one of the most overrated programs in the entire country and has been for a long time. Not to mention their players all act like a bunch of attention whores who strut around the field making fools of themselves after making a play, completely ignoring the fact that they’re losing the game most of the time.Sounds like the family has Samoan ties to Miami's DL coach. Eppy grew up with him. They could be tough to beat. I was really hoping Iose would be a member of this class, not so sure it will happen now.
Don't disagree that Miami has been living off the past but don't underestimate the bond between the Polynesian people. It is a tight knit culture. I have traveled the Oceania region during my business career, you will not meet nicer folks.Meh. They sell the sizzle because there’s not much substance there as a foundation. Doesn’t seem like the type of culture the Epenesas respect or would seek out.
His name isn’t “Lose.” It’s “Iose.” It starts with the same letter as Iowa.Pops was in Iowa City for this last Saturday. Lose had high school sports going on.

I mean, getting his actual name right is kinda important
Take the L dude, literally. You earned it.
Being incorrect with his name and being an incorrect speller of his name are two different things.
Is it possible to press the wrong key on a keyboard? Write me a ticket!Being incorrect with his name and being an incorrect speller of his name are two different things.
Guilty of depressing the wrong key on a keyboard. I am gonna watch your posts for punctuation and grammar now. Don't mess up!Take the L dude, literally. You earned it.
I get my last name spelled incorrectly a zillion times a year, and you know what? I don't give a rat's ass.I mean, getting his actual name right is kinda important
I certainly hope you never criticize a coach for being thin skinned with the fans or the media! That would be just a bit hypocritcal on your end.Is it possible to press the wrong key on a keyboard? Write me a ticket!

He’s a total jackass. He can stay in Moscow for the rest of his miserable existence.

IMO only, he will not be a Hawk, but just a guess. To get this back on track. I hate that Iose is visiting Miami the weekend of our big junior official visit weekend. Great way for players to mesh. He is in for an official earlier in the month so I'm sure it will be all hands on deck.
Has anyone heard when he might decide? Fingers crossed the Hawks come out on top.
He will commit to Iowa after his visit then help recruit is what I’m going with.Would feel better if he switched his Miami and Iowa visit dates… The 22nd looks like when they have at least 14 kids visiting…
Reported! 😜Guilty of depressing the wrong key on a keyboard. I am gonna watch your posts for punctuation and grammar now. Don't mess up!

Maybe the Epenesa's know something that we don't. Like Kirk won't be there his 4 years of college. To get this back on track. What if he wants to play for/with a team that is relevant?I think he would be crazy not to wanna play for Phil Parker who is the d coordinator in the game!
