I consistently don’t understand the brands train of thought with some of the decision making. Why would Gabe not go? The line up should be settled by now and Gabe needs to get a look at where he’s at compared to the number 1 guy. Ferrari won’t even wrestler starocci in his career when it matters. And if somehow the decision is to start him over Arnold for the remainder of the season it would be such a mismanagement of the roster in my opinion.

I think Angelo has better defense for the length of Starocci. But yes this time of year the spot needs to be decided but the coaches get antsy when Gabe has a close match.

Why would you want Starocci, who is unarguably a better wrestler at this point than Arnold, to have an idea of what he can or can’t do? The better wrestler has more ability to make adjustments. Gabe could make all the adjustments in the world and it wouldn’t matter this year. Let the first time they meet to be a surprise.

I think this has been the plan all year long. Ferrari has a few dates left and some big matches coming up. Gabe and him will split the next 4 I bet.

My opinion is that it’s better to have a feel for a guy and understand where you stand. I could understand your idea though. Unfortunately the reason they have made better adjustments though is due to coaching. Their staff seems much better at making small tactical adjustments and we simply don’t.
