Did Krikke have a foul in the first half?
I ask because even if that 2nd foul on Freeman wasn't really on Krikke instead, you still gotta be a good teammate and fight to claim it was on you instead, to keep your big man in the game. Especially if was sitting on 0 personal fouls at the time. Krikke didn't even give a slight token effort to snag that whistle instead.

Good point, and add to that the responsibility they must feel as "Go to" guys.

Iowa's first half defense was pretty porous IMO. If it continues in the second half it will be another L for Iowa.
Not good enough to drive by their bigger forwards and draw fouls, not that the refs would call them.......
He typically makes those in 2nd half. He'll deliver again.

Tbf, at least 16 of Northwestern's points (that's probably low in fact) came off those catch, dribble and back down to the lane, and shoot turn around one-handed shots.
Being undersized unfortunately lends to that........
There were really only a couple times where we had poor rotations or got caught trying to extend pressure/double teams and they made us pay inside.
Again, a lack of size will lend to that.
I am always amazed that D1 players that are pretty much gym rats their whole life cannot consistently make (50% +/-) an uncontested open shot that is appropriate for their position.

Maybe he'll draw a couple And1's as well, since he needs to use a strong shoulder to create space and not very much at that.
