I think he knows he’d rather do that than get ganged, hurt, or stripped.
The holes he’s used to just aren’t there.
There are games where our o line just gets destroyed. Is that a strength problem or a technique problem
I think he fights through when he thinks there's something to be gained. He probably knew there, he wasn't going to bust through 3 guys. I'd rather have him go down and avoid injury.
Trick plays only go for -10 yards for iowa because the only trick play we run is a reverse
What about that little toss play to get KJ on the outside.... that play has been money this year
If Sully was OK, I'd say we maybe have a chance. But having a third string QB in for the first time this year feels like an insurmountable task.
Still think Sullivan has the potential to be really good. Everyone has a bad day.

When you coach and scheme such a scared, risk-averse, overly-safe and basic passing game, it really puts all the pressure on your run game to execute.
And even when you have the threat of a running QB, if a team can overload the front and not allow broken plays and gaps in the run game, then you're pretty much f***ed with no real passing threat.
