He's a shoot to get hot, shoot to stay hot.... shoot shoot shoot and shoot some more type player. Fran loves this. But he can shoot you right out of games when he's cold.

Freeman needs to stay out of first half foul trouble. If we could place a bet on when he gets his 2nd foul I'd take under the 12 minute mark every game.

Yeah, between the fouls he really commits and the ones he shouldn't even contest and gets a foul, sitting a big part of the 1st half is nearly a given on road.



Dimbele and Traore better be ready. I doubt we see Mulvey because Fran seems to hate his game.

Sandfort is like the little girl with a curl. When he is good, he is very, very good. He needs to be more consistent on his shot selection.

I'll probably get blasted for this, but this year I think Freeman has picked up some dumb fouls because he is OUT OF SHAPE. In the first 5-10 mins of game, he's bent over and grabbing his shorts.

Playing him 38 minutes when he's ice cold never ends well for Iowa. It might have cost them the games vs ISU, Utah St, and Michigan where he went 15-53 combined.
