Is this team poised to go on a run?

Back to the real world. I think if this team continues on it's upward path we could have an NIT run similar to the year when last years seniors were frosh.

That one and done tournament experience could be very helpful in years to come and serve us better then getting pounded by a one or two seed in the NCAA's. The key is to keep getting better. Next year we will be deeper and have more experienced then most any other league team. There are going to be growing pains, tho.

Last year Wisconsin had that big roster turnover and went 8-5 in non conference and already had a few bad losses among them. Then they started 1-4 in the B1G, and the rest is history. I'm not saying that's going to happen but I'm at least optimistic that the season holds some promise again.
if we somehow manage to get to 20 wins we should get there.

That will be very difficult but you never know, especially when you add in the BTT. Our record there has obviously been embarrassing to say the least in the last few years...but you could also say the same about our games with UNI and ISU. I expect us to get run out of the gym by Wisconsin, MSU and Purdue on the road. But then if you list the remaining 15 games, is 11-4 really all that unreasonable?
