I think people are underestimating how tough it is to wrestle up a weight class. I like kem's style, and I like his future. But this is apt to be a challenging year, regardless of how good he is.
Easy on the team guys they wrestled just good enough to win hard to be up every time out.
Lost 3 matches and if Clark and Stoll wrestled be one. Let them enjoy Christmas and come
back get ready for Midlands.

Meyer B+
Brooks B for effort
Kemerer from A to D when he failed to pinfall in the first and gassed in the final two periods
Sorensen B for his third period effort (otherwise C)
Carton C for waiting til the third to wrestle
Laux C- for not firing any shots in third while down by two
Holloway C for effort despite giving up lots of weight. Took all the shots.
Wilcke C- for going passive the final 50 seconds while down by one.
Gunther C+ Solid effort

The team I saw tonight will not walk out of St. Louis with a trophy. Hope this was a valley and we peak at the right time.
Kemdog kind of reminded me of the marstellar match from grapple on the gridiron. He was totally dead at the end.
If this is how the team will be in march, than keep the shirt on the Bull.

You Guys NEED a New HC!!!I can see it now... We(ISU) lost several close matches by a point or two. Uh...Uh...Uh... this team is so close to turning the corner as we work to peak in March. Proud of our guys in a hostile environment. When we get Gabe and Pat back we will be a much better team.

Brands almost certainly had the team training all week including yesterday with expectations that his guys would wrestle through the fatigue.

Now we have Penn State guys using the "training through" excuse for us.
To be fair it has always been a rather lame excuse.
It seems nobody can be lackluster or really loses a match anymore, they were just training through or sick that night. If that's the case Jeba was over-training or sick his entire career.

Marstaller just about needed a stretcher to get from out of bounds to center of mat for restarts in that match. Kemdawg gassed but he didn't look like he was about to die.

Dang man. You guys are now confusing me. Globblin said it was, now you say it wasn't. 23 you are probably right though. Hawk fans don't need any encouragement, nor permission when it comes to bitching about their own athletes. It just seems to come naturally.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest you were confused long before you stumbled upon HR.
If we've somehow made your condition worsen, deal with it as best you can.
