While waiting for the response to my Garza/Wieskamp vote (which never came), I checked my gmail account and under the "Social" tag, I was notified about a Patrick McCaffery tweet titled, "That boy is a PROBLEM." It was a video of Jack McCaffery, a seventh grader, who looks to be a very talented player. Bigger than most of the kids and has a much sweeter stroke than either of his brothers. You may want to check it out.

Lol at the kid at 37 seconds. Looked like a 6 year old trying to play with the big kids.

That kid was probably a normal sized 7th grader. I'm pretty sure Jack is around 6'3-6'4, that's huge for a 7th grader.

My son played against Patrick in 7th-9th. Pretty sure Patrick was a foot taller every time (he still is).

This is by far the most skilled McCaffery at this age. Kid will be really really good.

Impressive highlights and I concur best looking stroke of the McCaffery kids.

Is he really that tall?? Holy cow

The pic I saw of him and Fran from earlier, I think it was taken at the Palestra before the PSU game, it looked like he was nearly as tall as Fran, maybe an inch or two shorter. I would guess at least 6'2, probably taller. I'll post the pic if I can find it, I think it was on Twitter or Insta.

As many know, Joe W's brother Luke plays on the same AAU team as Jack. He's supposed to be really good too and bleeds Black & Gold as well.

Those two should form a very solid nucleus in years to come.

Steve Bardo has to be excited at the prospect of re-telling his George Jefferson "Weezie" story in the next 6-10 years or so to a new generation of fans.

I am 6’1”, he’s at least as tall as I am.

Jack may start with dad. But I but he ends his Iowa career with his brother Connor as the head coach.

Anyone care for a little wager 7-10 years in the future?? ;)
Depends on whether Barta is still the AD or not.

Just some perspective...Lil Lick was the starting PG on a state champion 4A team in HS. IIRC, he averaged 11-12 ppg that year.

And the famous picture of him going for scoop layout with the Purdue guy towering over him in an aggressive shot blocking stance, he made that shot.

I read something in the lounge that he's a legit 6'3'' at this point. That's unreal.
