I wasn't commenting on the veracity of the argument, just rather the content. I didn't hear nepotism as an issue when Fran recruited his two sons currently on the team. I have heard it bandied about when it came to minute distribution they received, and more pointedly at Connor more so than Patrick.
Well duh. They are not employees, they are qualified (BF is not and is doing a deplorable job), and they are considered very desirable prospects. Face it, our QB coach and OC coach sucks at his job.

She made some comments on Connor and Pat’s podcast about how tough it is seeing her kids criticized and the unfair comments that the kids only play because they are Fran’s sons. It was something to that effect, though I’d have to go rewatch/listen to get the exact verbiage…

I'm with ya. Fran's probably got 7 more seasons in him. Love to see Connor go to a program that emphasis good defense. Return to Iowa for Fran's last two seasons and seamless transition. I think Connor will be a very good coach, since he's already started.Jack may start with dad. But I but he ends his Iowa career with his brother Connor as the head coach.

The 4’9” kid guarding Jack in one of those “highlights” may very well have been a 5th grader.
I find this hard to believe, given that from everything I've heard Margaret is the main reason Connor and Patrick have gotten the playing time they have over the years.
