Nobody ran him out of the room. Jake just wasn't ready for Division1 wrestling. I live near NIACC and sometimes go and watch them practice. Very nice young man who does very well in the classroom. I'm sure Jake isn't going to lose any sleep knowing that he didn't live up to your expectations.
He is at NIACC and their regional was at Worthington. I know he did not work out but he is an Iowa kid. I wish him well.
Iowa kid that wanted to be a Hawkeye. He made it into that room which is more than 99.9% percent of the clowns on here bashing him. I wish him the best.

A friend of mine who talked to Marlin said that the Iowa room was tougher or more than what he expected coming in. Said that you couldn't leave the practice facility until you made weight after each practice and that things were way to controlled for his liking. Not sure how much of this it true or not. I wish him well with whatever he does though.
This thread is 2 years old. Not sure why it got bumped. I don't think Marlin has wrestled in two years and this coming year is his final year of D1 eligibility.
That's no way to think. We can push this to 30-40 pages if everybody comes together.
