Particularly when the final td was after a hail mary attempt by Wisconsin in the waning seconds. Ben's lack of movement after the first couple mins is concerning. There's stretches where he's completely flat footed for 10-15 secs at a time in the chad beatty stance. Needs to get it going for sure if he's going to compete for the podium.

Total guess on my part, I think he has been so dominant most of his career against lesser opponents that this is a whole different animal for him. I'm talking about youth thru high school. He's not used to being challenged a whole match consistently by big, strong, wrestlers.
It's a learning curve and I wouldn't be shocked if as a junior a senior he destroys everyone.

We’ll find out how good he is pretty quick. Luffman at Illinois is a total gatekeeper type and ranked 1-2 spots higher than Ben. Hoping Ben puts a whuppin’ on him and quiets his nay sayers down a bit.

Every time they showed Cass during the dual I kept thinking to myself "I wonder what Tony really thinks about this shitshow that is Wiscy wrestling"? Anything opens up somewhere else and he surely will be gone, but it pays the bills pretty well right now for him. Can't imagine Bozo will be their much longer, but who knows since they just extended him.
