Please JBo, for the good of the team and the conference as a whole, pass this guy!

Actually Dom Uhl was pretty good during his sophomore season, 2014/2015. He showed some promise going forward, but not so much during his last 2 years with the Hawks....The most surprising stat is Dom Uhl getting three assists from Jordan. I couldn't remember Dom Uhl making three baskets.
I know that some of Jordan's extracurricular activities have soured some on him, but Jordan has been a great Hawkeye who played through pain and always gave 100%, even though he wasn't always as physically gifted as some of his opponents. He single-handedly won us some BIG games. To my thinking, he deserves better.
When JBo made 2 or more 3's in a game, we likely win. This year we were 15-5 when that happened.

not my intention to bash the kid but am I the only one who thinks any records set including stats from a 6th season should have an asterisk by them?
honest question .... not to diminish his career at all but how do record keepers rectify that? I know he dealt with injuries but I imagine a lot of the players he’s passing did as well and still only played 4 seasons..... I’ve honestly lost track of whether he ever missed a whole season though..... know he had to shut it down one year shortly after the season started didn’t he?
you kind of amaze me the time and effort you put in on this board.....Technically, this will be his 5th full season; he played just 10 games in 2019-2020
But his current 143 games played definitely stands out. He is on pace to play in at least 175 games.
Take a look at the Iowa career scoring list and then look at games played for each player on the list.
Note that Don Nelson played in just 72 games. Imagine if he had played in 175.

Reggie Evans...1,054 (2 yrs: 2001-2002, 69 GP, .486 FG%, 15.3 ppg; 1 three point goal)
Keep in mind that the 3 point shot was officially introduced to all of college basketball for the 1986-87 season. As you see above, that benefited Matt Gatens with 239 extra career points from his 239 three point shot makes. Imagine if the three point shot had existed for "Downtown Freddie Brown." It is interesting, too, that Horner made 262 three point shots; only his overall .391 FG % prevented him from further climbing up the career scoring list.
Whats interesting, too, is that Don Nelson and Ronnie Lester had great scoring averages; however, because of fewer games played at Iowa, it prevented them from being higher up the all time list.
21.2 ppg, 72 GP, Don Nelson,
16.9 ppg, 99 GP, Ronnie Lester
you kind of amaze me the time and effort you put in on this board.....
This all plays into my question and shows how variables play into accomplishments and records..... and yes it’s impossible in my mind to know how to compare records over the years due to rule changes like the 3 point line.... and when I ran track our distances were measured in yards not meters for example...,it’s all relative for sure
it just seems like having an extra season longer than predecessors to set those records skews the records he’s setting..... I don’t mean to minimize his accomplishments but for the sake of the record books this just seems unfair in a way..... I would think there would be an asterisk by those records.....
honestly just another example of how covid-19 presented so many weird circumstances I guess..... surely JBo won’t be the only athlete in a scenario like this
Nice bump Franny!Big opening night for JBo
This may end well.B1G's All-Time 3-Point Goals Made:

Not unless we have another pandemic, and have a kid start for 5 and 1/2 seasons anyway.....not sure if some of these will ever be broken
and don't forget, he is also tied w/ Chris Street for consecutive FTs made
Didn't read the whole thread so I apologize if this was covered....but it looks like he would have to average about 13 points per game to get to 2,000? that is regular season games.
His shot looked great against Longwood......hopefully he stays healthy and finishes his career on a very high note.
Good old JBo.
