Woolridg#......15.7 ppg
E’s ain’t nothin’ but a #.

Jordan has a shot at becoming #1 All Time in 3-point goals made, Power 6 conferences only.

The math:

Assuming 17 games left (15 conf + 1 BTT + 1 other postseason)
x 3 three pointers made/game
= 51
+ 400 (where he is now)
= 451 vs 457 (JJ Redick, #1 All Time, Power 6 Conferences only)

Who really cares? I would really be impressed if he could guard anyone absolutely anyone. Get 2 or 3 rebounds a game . Shoot 40% from the field and make 35% of his threes and was at least 6’ 4 playing the 2 guard. He is old news and stifling the development of the younger guards.

Not to knock Jbo, but there really needs to be an asterick or something there. He's played about 3x as many games as some of the guys he's passing....

You are right. He's now played in 162 games.

If JBo had finished his career playing in the same number of games as Aaron White:

140 games (what Aaron played in)
x 11.4 ppg (JBo's career average)
..................................................................
1,596 Career Points (which would put him at #12 on the Iowa All Time Scoring List)
============================

Okay, and exaggeration, BUT at his points per game he wouldn't be in the top ten.

Here is the All Time Scoring List sorted by PPG. Crazy that Don Nelson played in just 72 games.

Sad that we have some of the worst fans in college history that can't be happy for one of their own. I'd expect this from clown fans, who were yukking it up when we signed JBo, but after all his accomplishments, including games he won at the buzzer, you would think he would get more respect from the peanut gallery on here.

He's also #1 on opponents scouting reports to attack offensively. That hasn't changed in 6 years. Against the really good teams on our schedule, Toussaint, Ulis, and Perkins should get more minutes period. Rutgers has a good defensive team...JBo is a liability in those games...he can't get his shot and they are going to attack him defensively in a relentless manner.

Jordan's accomplishments are incredible...he's a great three point shooter, a great teammate and he's had a great career. He's a great Hawkeye. That doesn't change the fact that in certain games he's a liability because he's not making shots...and he's extremely vulnerable on defense.

I also think Fran playing him at the end of games makes sense, especially when we have a lead and free throws are likely.

Cmon Ron. Not attacking the kid. Just think its worth mentioning as he climbs over guys who have played 40 less and more games. I think thats only fair to keep some context. When he's done he'll be at almost 180 GAMES played compared to a lot of guys on the list in the 120's. Hell Ronnie Lester at 99 games and Uthoff at 100. So he'll have played 80 MORE games. Thats 2 and a half more FULL seasons! Thats certainly noteworthy to the conversation. He's had a great career no doubt, but that doesn't eliminate the context under which he achieved those numbers either, and I don't see how thats picking on him at all.
