JBo #3 on Iowa All Time Scoring List (2,033 Pts). #1 in B1G History in 3's Made. Iowa's #1 All Time in 3's Made (One Game & Overall),Assists, FT% & GP

Congrats to J Bo

B1G's All-Time 3-Point Goals Made:
1. Jordan Bohannon, Iowa, 378

2. Jon Diebler, Ohio State, 374
3. Louis Bullock, Michigan, 339

I also read that he broke Diebler's record, having played 333 minutes less than Diebler. At 32 minutes per game, that is 10 less games! So you can say all you want to about year 6, but let's go minute for minute!

it would have been cool if Diebler would have been at the game

i guess the phone call was second best thing

Must be the injuries?

Not sure what you mean.

JBo's injuries or Jon's?

To be honest, I don't really remember Diebler; his career ended 10 years ago, of course.

Jon must have benefited from extra postseason games where JBo, of course, benefited from a medical hardship and the free covid year.

JBo's 147 Games Played came in the seasons that ended/will end in:
2017
2018
2019
10 games in 2020 (before shutting down)
2021
2022

I can see him making it to 4th, maybe 3rd which is pretty incredible when you consider his supposed status when he was signed. Another player fans were ambivalent about. I doubt that many of us would have forecast the amazing success he's has had and the records he holds.

JBO will leave quite the legacy…..some will have to point to this extra year to dismiss his accomplishments but not only did he accomplish A LOT prior to this year but how many players in the entire history of college b-ball can say they even come close to the numbers he has compiled?

Aaron White played in 140 games, which even at 13.3 ppg, allowed him to climb all the way to #3 on the All Time Scoring List. What's interesting is I don't see many people trying to discount Aaron's stats.

JBo is now at 155 games. If he continues at his career 11 ppg average and he plays in the 21 games (at least) remaining (19 reg season, 1 BTT, 1 other postseason), that is 231 more points to add to his 1,767 current total, which puts him at 1,998 career points.

And if he averages 2 made threes over these next 21 games, he will be a 436 made three pt goals. That's over double what Kent McCausland and Peter Jok made, as you can see below.

As you can also see, he'd have to average 3 made threes in order to catch JJ Redick.
