Eye - once again making ISU ISU. Before I flew down to the Orange Bowl for the Iowa-USC game went to Jimmy's for beers. And ISU was playing Boise St. in the Humanitarian Bowl. And ISU was getting crushed. And a group of ISU fans started the chant, "We beat Iowa" clap, clap, clap. Of course my former wrestling team buddies and former football buddies laid into them and they left very quickly. Pussies. But point is, if Iowa fans were ever starting a chant about beating ISU in September while getting boat raced in the Humanitarian Bowl on the blue field I would lose my shit. You have provided no facts on anything for ISU except you are a bottom feeder who celebrates 8-5 in the worst P5 conference and lost to an average Iowa team at home. Dude stop. Seriously you make even the worst and delusional ISU fans look good.
Jimmy's American Cafe on the West side? If that is the place you are referring, I question there was any "chanting" going on. But when they start chanting it got funny. 3 former All American wrestlers and 2 Big 10 football players and I simply asked if that was all they care about. Pollard hired Dresser because there was alumi(donor) pressure to improve wrestling. Pollard was happy to just have a clean wrestling program. Winning championships was not really a priority because it was going to take $$$$ away from other more pressing priorities. I agreed with that philosophy.
Well when they just got third in the nation this year and appear to be on an upswing I would say it's going to be awhile.
I've got plenty to stand on. There's no evidence that if we played OSU that Iowa would not have won that game. Iowa was the higher ranked team for a good part of that year. Anything else is purely conjecture.

In recap, ISU had their first or second best season ever in 100 years in football, yet lost at home to Iowa and finished with the same record when Iowa had a harder SOS; basketball team finished last in their conference; wrestling was awful. So Iowa will be a has been in wrestling when ISU only qualified 1 wrestler in a weak conference and half the guys are transferring? You have a stud coming in cause his his Dad wrestled at ISU and his Dad is now in charge of the side freestyle training. Really weak son. Really sad and pathetic.

The hawks SOS was finally legitimate but only once in 7-10 years. The hawks return to a weak schedule again this year, while ISU continues to play a strong schedule as it does every single year.......but nice point as I forgot to bring that up.....thank you@
Nothing has solidified my belief that the b12 is a Nancy a$$ more than watching Nebraska flounder. It's funny to listen to a clown talk about sos. Baylor was horrible before they starting buying players and are not good now, Iowa state, like it or not is historically one of the worst programs in the sport, Kansas is the bottom p5 team, no way around it.
Illinois is the worst team in the b10 and they have a blue blood like history compared to ISU.

Funny according to this SOS metrics Iowa had 10th toughest last year. Also had a tougher one previous year and if you look back at past 5 seasons higher one 3 out of the 5 vs ISU. Again let’s not let facts get in the way when making an arguement. Thanks
