Joe pardons Hunter

Biden pardons his son for no reason other than because he's his son, Biden lied with one last FU to the Democrats and voters that didn't want him to run. It probably irked him that Trump is getting away with his crimes.

Ah, yes. Another day in politics.

Oh look! The coup supporters who think the apes who stormed the capital did nothing wrong, and voted for their poop-throwing, fellow dumbass for POTUS are shedding crocodile tears over the law. LOL! MAGAts are such stupid scumbags.
Typical response from a deranged partisan. Rather than have some integrity and admit what Biden did was both dishonest and wrong, you try and blame others. It's one of the biggest traits of liberals the country is fed up with.

Concerning
Don't care.

Yet another example of Biden putting his foot in his mouth but eventually doing the right thing.

If not for the politicization of Hunter's prosecution by the right, Hunter would be serving a short sentence. Clearly the Rs were much more concerned with the campaign value of smearing Hunter than seeing justice served.

Some will argue the same is true of the Trump prosecutions,

Thanks to politicization, we can't say that justice was served in either the Hunter cases or the Trump cases. But the difference is that Hunter isn't going to be president.

Smearing Hunter???....oh, that is precious....He didn't do enough to smear himself, huh??

Hypocrite. Please point us to the posts of yours upset about the pardons Trump gave out. Or posts upset that MTG asked for a pardon a couple of days into her first term.
Get a clue Tom. This is why your party lost EVERYTHING. No accountability. When you f*ck up, own it and quit blaming the other side. Good Lord it’s like I’m talking to my kids. Gonna be a long 12 years if Dems don’t learn this lesson.

We haven’t seen a pardon as sweeping as Hunter Biden’s in generations

Democrats meet Hunter Biden pardon with groans and shrugs

Not even Politico and Axios can polish this turd.
Trump pardoned mostly violent criminals. He pardoned people and is now putting them in his cabinet. This would be a ho hum pardon if Trump did it.

Thank you for making my point. Actually LOTS of points about how Democrats have to be perfect with what they do, while Republicans can do this 100 fold and not one from complaint people like you. The lessons democrats need to learn aren't the lessons you think they are. Especially when the people they need to convince were okay voting for a rapist felon conman. People like that aren't convincible.

Or he just was keeping Trump from spending the next 4 years investigating Hunter and using him as a deflector from all the shit he does while in office. Or, more likely, he just didn't want his son to have to deal with this anymore. Or, everything you say is true. Since he can no longer plead the 5th Congress can call him in and get the truth from him. I'm betting they won't actually do that though since all of this was complete bullshit and there's no political advantage to keeping up the charade. Just like the 2000 mules crap. It's amazing how dumb people are that those obvious fabrications worked on them.

The whole idea of any president having the authority to pardon anyone, which often involves friends and family or some political affiliate or someone who has somehow garnered the attention of someone in that group has always been anathema to me. It's just another example of the illusion that justice is blind, is exactly that. An illusion.

Were any of the MAGA snowflakes on here pissed when their guy pardoned all these criminals?
Peculiar thing about that list. A cursory scan reveals numerous people convicted of illegal possession of a firearm by a drug offender.

It has been explained to me that the federal government never prosecutes people for that and the only reason Hunter was prosecuted for it is because he was the victim of a politically motivated witch hunt.

Then he shouldn't have said it.

He also should have asked a favor of trump when trump took office. ‘Consider a pardon for my son’.

That would have made Biden look like he isn't favoring his son but asking for mercy for him. And had Trump not done it it would make him look petty. But instead he simply pardoned him in the biggest display of dishonesty(statements prior) and nepotism in some time.
Smooth move ole Joe, ya just ruined Old Crazy Filthy Dons day, er month.

Don’t be so obtuse.

Damn it Joe.

This is flat out corrupt period. This wasn't a political prosecution, your own DOJ conducted the prosecution. Hunter needs consequences for his actions.

The pardon is so abused. Its rarely used for its intent, which is to allow a method to right an obvious wrong of the judicial system, and it is almost exclusively used to dole out political and personal favors. We need to just get rid of it, or at least make it so that one of the branches of Congress has a defined time period of like 100 days to overturn a pardon by a majority vote. There should be some check on it. Another idea would be that pardons are not allowed by an outgoing executive after an election. If they are going to issue sketchy pardons, they should have to face to potential political consequences by doing it before the election.
