Fran's buyout is $212,000,000
just kidding.....
it's $5,422,500
John Calipari has the highest buyout in the country at $34,968,749
Yeah, he kept recruiting 1 and dones when everyone else is going after 5th and 6th year players. That was with what Belein left behind, though. The trajectory was down. WAY down.
That's got Fran written all over it.Don't really see it as a need, but Will Tschetter just seems like someone Fran will try and go after. They offered him out of high school.
Shot the crap out of the ball this year--52% from 3 on almost 2 attempts per game. And as a stretch 4, it's a pretty easy sell to with Krikke's minutes leaving. Like Krikke though, poor defense and poor rebounder...
You'd think that after getting in a fight with a second coach they would have been able to fire him with cause and avoid the buyout. What was his buyout? Lucky for Michigan they can afford to kick him to the curb.
At little ole Iowa we are stuck with mediocrity and told that it's the best we can do.
He just received a huge extension at Bama. With Michigan’s reputation they will probably take Nate Oats. Heck he allowed a murderer to play all year for Bama.

How about incoming recruits?Don't really see it as a need, but Will Tschetter just seems like someone Fran will try and go after. They offered him out of high school.

Mostly agree with this. One and done guys, while amazing talents, often don't allow the cohesiveness that a team needs to be great. Still, if Iowa can somehow steal one of UM or OSU's top players or recruits, why not? The center at OSU would sure look nice in a Hawkeye uni. Both Howard and holtman of OSU brought in highly rated recruits who only stayed one year before going NBA.
OSU- Branham. Sensebaugh
Mich- nett Howard, butkus
These kinds of recruits end up hurting teams more than helping if they depart immediately.
Better off focusing recruiting guys in the 30- 100 in top 100.
Don't think Fran offered any of them originally. How about incoming recruits?
Now Fran can go to Vandy? 😂
One year players are far more effective when they are 5th year guys who know how to play and just want to win.Mostly agree with this. Lol, no one is taking Fran off our hands. Now Fran can go to Vandy? 😂
Has to be a racist move. IowaLaw, The Hawkeye Report expert on racism should be posting a dissertation on the matter soon.He had two Sweet 16 and one Elite 8 at Michigan.
Looks good on paper.good hire
damnit
Mediocrity? Some programs don't settle for mediocrity
