Kirk suspended for first game

You do realize the suspension of Harbaugh for the first 3 games was self imposed....for buying a cheeseburger

Now watch this in regards to the B10 ban...there is a reason your boy KF was actually on Michigan's side of this....this video/ interview is from today (technically yesterday).... August 21 2024

Welcome to the party

Muck Fichigan.

Self reporting minor violations in today’s NCAA environment is unnecessary IMO. They aren't enforcing anything so why bother.

Iowa has always tried the ethical approach in hopes they get a cookie at the end game.

Budmayr is probably a Wisconsin plant to disrupt. Not sure much good has come out of his hiring to date.

Fixed it, and I added your omission to it.

I find it laughable that recruiting violations can even happen in this era of football.
Totally the case, there are huge brown bags of cash floating around now, out in the open, raise $5 million to give to a high school QB but Kirk is getting dinged for a game.

I cant wait to hear the particulars on the evil cheating Kirk did!!!!

Concur that this is a true nothingburger.

Well, yes. In the grand scheme of things. I hate to assume an outcome of a game yet rightly believe Iowa should win handily. But we've seen Iowa struggle in these types of games before. They cannot simply "roll out the ball and expect to steamroll them" - they need to show up ready to play here.

This first game I think is pretty important as far as setting the tone for the offense for the entire season - and not having 2 of your coaches (including The Big Guy himself)...let's just say I'd rather they be there than not.

I'm guessing Seth Wallace will takeover for Kirk.
Exactly. What did he do, get handed the phone by Budmayr to say hi to Cade? A one minute suspension seems more appropriate.

So, by my reckoning, Budmayr has brought us Deacon Hill and a one game suspension for our coach.

Not sure we should even want Cade....let's see how he does this year, maybe he's worth a minor suspension

After what happened with Kentucky tampering with CJ Fredrick in basketball and both college football and basketball becoming
professional sports, its hard to believe what KF/Budamyr did amounts to much on a relative basis.

Further proof the NCAA is a steaming pile of dung.
Although it is kinda funny that the Gift From God got dinged for a "violation".

If you think Bud was the reason our passing offense was so bad last year... I don't know what to say.

It's just laughable, though. It's like a guy driving 42 in a 35 while others are driving drunk. The speeder gets fined.

"If" Iowa beats Illinois State will that win not count for KF and his run at Woody Hayes' all-time win total?

Oh boy.

Welcome to the party

The video has absolutely nothing to do with the scouting rule Michigan broke.

You can't possibly be that stupid.

You make yourself look bad every time you defend those cheaters

I suspect it’s gonna look like the 2nd half of the last game on varsity blues. Iowas gonna go no huddle, overload one side and make em cover wetjen 1 on 1. Richman may even wander down field like he’s lost and end up scoring a td.

Am I crazy for thinking Iowa performs better without Kirk there?
