Remind me again please. Is Barr the AG or Trump's personal attorney?

Attorney General William Barr and media mogul Rupert Murdoch had a private meeting on Wednesday night, not long after Fox News released a poll showing that 51 percent of voters are in favor of impeaching Trump and removing him from office, The New York Times reports.

A person familiar with the matter told the Times the pair met at Murdoch's home in New York. It's unclear if they were joined by others, or what exactly they talked about. Many Fox News hosts are pro-Trump, like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, but there are also people like anchor Shep Smith and senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, who have been critical of Trump and his July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Their denunciations coupled with the brutal poll resulted in a Trump tweet storm on Thursday morning. "Whoever their pollster is, they suck," Trump said. "But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days."

Here's an example of the possible long lasting ramifications of Trump's presidency. Everyone understands the SCOTUS issue, but lower courts as well, and possibly more importantly.

Once Trump is gone and proven to be the Russian mole a lot of us suspect him to be, a serious rooting out of his judicial appointments needs to occur. Otherwise, like you said, we will be dealing with this lawless administration for the next generation or two. Some sort of compromise will need to be made with the republican party to make this happen in all likelihood. Mitch McConnell will probably need to be removed from his leadership position for letting this happen, if the voters of Kentucky don't run him out of office in 2020.

If the Democrats were good at this, which they aren't, they would use the campaign finance law violations that I'm betting most GOP reps have by this point and tell them if they assist in removing unqualified Trump appointees then they may avoid going to jail.

However, Democrats are terrible at playing hard ball so they will probably just shrug their shoulders and say there is nothing they can do and then cry about it.

Tariffs are ALL still in place. Not a thing has changed.

China had to buy our farm goods anyway; claiming they "agreed" to buying is nonsense. What did the US formally "get"? Haven't heard a peep on any concession at all.

It’s the same trick the Europeans played with soybeans. Art of the deal.
