But Gabe apparently wants to wrestle Starocci. (Sp?)If they are just using Gabe for the 2 additional goes out of the 5 then this is a good dual to use him where he could potentially be the difference between winning and losing. Penn State dual not in question from a team perspective or an individual match perspective.
I was able to watch a few of Hutmacher’s matches when he wrestled for Chamberlain HS. As I said in another thread, he simply overpowered opponents with his size and strength advantage. He rarely wrestled past the 1st period his final two years.I see it as a very tight match overall BUT . whomever we send out at HWT needs to wrestle a Fast paced defensive 1st period without putting themselves into danger then take the big guy who hasn't wrestled a super competitive 7 minute match in a few years to the next level and see what the big fellas lungs look like. A lot of head clubbing and fake shots and circling in both directions just to keep his feet moving and that heart rate up. I mean if he did in fact drop 30 to 45 pounds as they say he did SINCE the end of football season He will really be labored to have much *of a spare tank for a fast paced 2nd or 3rd period. Equal out that extra bulk and strength of his with superior conditioning and wrestling smart until his reactions and defense is dropping. I think Hill can beat this guy if he uses his conditioning and not a straight on frontal attack that plays into the Nebraska HWTs strengths.
I base what I said off this year, maybe Allred has been dinged up but he does not look like that guy who beat Deanthere's a difference between 'can win' and 'the obvious pick'.
would anyone's head explode if glazier won? no.
but the pick is clearly the defending big ten champ against.
It sounds *un but I think Starocci is going to be motivated to really show him up in a bad way.But Gabe apparently wants to wrestle Starocci. (Sp?)
Id be surprised if 100 people are able to walk over to Devaney.Would have to figure a "less than full crowd" doesn't help the Huskers.
Heard it's -20 with the windchill as wellId be surprised if 100 people are able to walk over to Devaney.
I see it the same way.My guess
Ayala Teske Woods Rathjen Franek Caliendo Kennedy Riggins Glazier Hill. If the dual is on the line at HWT I think we see Kueter.
A full crowd would be majority Hawk fans, a blizzard may keep some hawks home, so the 10-12 husker fans may make some noiseWould have to figure a "less than full crowd" doesn't help the Huskers.
I don’t know if that roster pulls out a win (but I hope they do).I see it the same way.
@smalls103, bub, you really need to stop chewing while on air.
I'd say that's a good plan, but also realize, the kid has been going with Tervel since the week after thanksgiving .I see it as a very tight match overall BUT . whomever we send out at HWT needs to wrestle a Fast paced defensive 1st period without putting themselves into danger then take the big guy who hasn't wrestled a super competitive 7 minute match in a few years to the next level and see what the big fellas lungs look like. Have a slice of Lehigh Pizza and tell Tom hi.I’ll be heading to Bethlehem,PA tomorrow with three of my friends to watch Lehigh wrestle Cornell.
I thought the same thing. Then he reaches down and spits in a water bottle after he let's it build up. Take the ****ing dip out for the 20 min interview you slob@smalls103, bub, you really need to stop chewing while on air.
Not only is it visually unappealing we can hear it as well.
It's very distracting.
Wha? No on-air dipping? It’s part of his persona.I thought the same thing. Then he reaches down and spits in a water bottle after he let's it build up. Take the ****ing dip out for the 20 min interview you slob
It's f*cking gross, that's all there is to it.Wha? No on-air dipping? It’s part of his persona.
Are you going to be wearing your Iowa gear?I’ll be heading to Bethlehem,PA tomorrow with three of my friends to watch Lehigh wrestle Cornell.
Enjoy. Saw Shapiro live recently and he’s very exciting to watch. Top newcomer by a wide margin.I’ll be heading to Bethlehem,PA tomorrow with three of my friends to watch Lehigh wrestle Cornell.
No. Wearing my Lehigh gear. Are you going to be wearing your Iowa gear?
I'm 219. Got him beat! I was hoping to see his weight closer to 230. Next year I suppose
Too small for this match, maybe?
He’s gonna be 220 the rest of the year, if he’s feeling ready throw him out there. Might as well get used to giving up tons of weight.Too small for this match, maybe?
Stay on your feet and wear him down. Hutmacher is used to wrestling a minute and a half, make him go the distance. He’d be giving up 65 pounds.
Sure. But BK isn’t used to wrestling at all right now.Stay on your feet and wear him down. Hutmacher is used to wrestling a minute and a half, make him go the distance.
So either we have the next Snyder-esque HWT or he's going to get rag dolled by dudes that have 40+ pounds on him most nights. He’s gonna be 220 the rest of the year, if he’s feeling ready throw him out there. Might as well get used to giving up tons of weight.
