I think a lot of our focus on urban firefighting has been misplaced. It's the arial attack that most quickly controls the growth of the fire.

The fires exploded during a time of extremely high winds that meant any attack via air had to be delayed.

The fires in LA are a natural disaster, politicians had absolutely no way of stopping or even ameliorating the situation save for measures taken beforehand that the assholes slamming Newsom, Bass, and Democrats would never ever support or tolerate.

The silver lining is that the Californians and the country are witnessing incompetence on a grand scale and tax dollar mismanagement. Dem politicians are pointing fingers at each other.

I look forward to seeing more information that will come to light. I look forward to them doing some more back stabbing. Can’t wait to see all the news interviews of people who live there bashing their politicians. Popcorn time.

We are only spiking the football because America is realizing that entire States run by democrats can have massive problems caused by said Democrats. It happens in cities a lot more often. Big cities tend to have Democrat run governments. We Republicans are definitely spiking the football after that big win with Trump but we certainly are not thrilled with all the loss of life and loss of property... And we think we know how to fix it but we are excited to try in the future to fix it but for now it's a bunch of grief and horrible death and loss of property... I don't think people are actually spiking the football like you think they are. Now, could they be saying see I told you so... Yeah I admit people are doing that.

So when Florida/Texas gets walloped again what do we do? North Carolina floods? I've never in my life even thought of celebrating a tragedy because of politics. But I guess that's what separates me and your kind.
