i was there and and saw as many matches as I could.
25 Gilman didn't break a sweet on his way to a championship.
33- Clark did very well. I didn't see the finals with Laux. His first match opponent tried to fight him.
41-Turk hurt his shoulder and it didn't look to serious but I think they held him out just to be safe. Carton is really trying hard to win the spot, working hard and doing the right things. Meyer was down to 41 and did well. Glynn had a great tournament! Took Carton down in the finals, but like many freshmen couldn't get out on bottom. He has really improved.
49 Shaw and Glosser had a great match. Shaw had 3 matches in 45 min. Impressed by his fight. Glosser is really good. No chance me makes 41. He is a full 49. BS took the championship easily.
57- Kemerer is a hammer. TF Logan Thomsen who is now at Warburg. Easy championship for him.
65- Gunther looked good as he rolled to a championship. Had Moody in the finals who is game.
74- I'm sorry but Meyer is so boring. He doesn't do anything. He stands around the whole first period. Then gets an escape the 2nd and rides out the third. He wrestles to the level of competition.
84-Brooks rolled everyone. Had a scare in the semi's with a leg injury. Seems to be ok.
97- Cash and Bowman have both grown into the weight. Not overwhelmingly offensive but will be in every match
285- Holloway is a beast and very strong, but still a little small for the weight.
FRESHMEN
33 Rathbu lost his first match. The guy was very counter offensive and was able to score of Rathbun attacks. Rathbun will clean things up and be ok.
Wagner rolled everyone that wasent Stickley. Stickley is very good.
41- Happel rolled
57 Malcom had a challenge in the finals but got it done.
65- Young is a beast
84- didn't see much of Brownlee, not sure how he finished.
