Agreed. I've done some interviews in the past, and it can get to your nerves.

Throw back to the bottom of the 5th inning of today's UC-Irvine at Iowa baseball game.
The score was still 0-0, when we scored the game winning run!!!
As you can see, MADDIE was magic & our good luck charm!!!!

When you get right down to it, other than opposable thumbs and the power of speech, is there really that much difference between an old man and an old dog? We both lay on the porch and notice when the young cuties run by, we just don't have the energy to get off the porch and chase them anymore.

She stood there looking into the camera, not saying a word; she then looked down to her right and asked, "Go??" She must have gotten the nod of approval because she then started talking!

Honestly she actually showed some improvement last night. In fact it was a freaky Friday type thing. The guys on the broadcast were awful.
Maddie made another noteworthy appearance between the second and third inning of the third game of the MSU baseball series. (Got to see her "wind-blown" look.) Must give her an "incomplete" grade for this effort; after an adequate lead-in, she apparently forgot the Mitch Boe quote she was going to use to complete her otherwise informative side-line report. As a fan, I am not discounting the possibility she was "done in" by a justifiably envious producer who failed to plug in the tele-a-prompter. She obviously inspired the Hawkeyes as they immediately scored in the bottom of the inning!
OMG. I just saw the replay of that. That is as bad as it gets. I can't believe they charge for BTN Plus. LOL
I agree; she started off fine. She looked great, wearing a black blazer and pink top; she was holding that mic perfectly.
The transcript:
Maddie: "It's senior day here in Iowa City and the return of senior captain Mitch Boe. Mitch Boe got injured earlier at a series at Ohio State but he's back today and he's excited to play and he said that...(she smiles & laughs) that, um,....back to you Trevor and JJ."
The play by play guy was a pro and simply said, "Thank you very much, Maddie Scott...."

We will always wonder what Mitch Boe said to Maddie. If only Maddie had told us!!

Well, I did it @Franisdaman. Got my Youtube TV back in service and am now ready for some pigskins and hoops (Hawk style). Oh, and BTW I'll be looking for Miss Maddie again if she's still on air.
