I remember reading about Power Christians right after the Tea Party movement who believed that power was what true Christianty was all about. And that source of power came from politics and money.

I've given the numbers in other threads. Over 90% of Rs voted to protect him after his coup. Joni protected him. Grassley protected him. Reynolds campaigned with him. They all won reelection. Which means the R voters excused it, too.
I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark none of those cousin's committed 6 felonies. And had a politically connected grandfather either. Colorado Springs is a Conservative stronghold. Meaning the DA is most likely Redder than Santa.

Lol. I have a couple very close gay friends. 3 of them are in the 55 to 60 age range. Just awesome guys who lived their early days in the closet but have lived a great life down here. I met Scott and Charles in 2004 when we lived in the same apartment complex and we have been best friends ever since. My opinion is absolutely shaped by my relationship with them.
I will add that those two plus my coworker are all pretty hard core conservatives: they are also appalled by the young members of the gay community. I don’t partake in much of that discussion when it happens.
