Is Nebraska bidding against themselves because Georgia isn’t in a bidding war for him. Georgia will roll with their other top 10 QB commit who’s already on campus.
Never said it’s a done deal. Just said Georgia isn’t going to get in a bidding war. He can still change his mind and stay committed to Georgia. They don’t believe in paying more for incoming recruits vs established players, similar to Iowa. They want to recruit, develop and retain, not be Texas A&M, Florida, Miami etc. They will use the portal as needed but there’s a reason why they have 27 HS commits, maybe more before it’s done.
Maybe they should start rethinking that strategy. Have you seen the mass exodus out of Athens. Don't see that happening in Ann Arbor or even to that extent at Alabama.

Don’t really care. Everyone will have transfers. Georgia is also bringing in at least 27 high school recruits who will sign next week with 21 of them enrolling early and a majority of those going through bowl practices now. Georgia doesn’t bring in a lot of transfers. They like to develop.

I am not sure why people would be surprised that Georgia for example would be having so many go to the portal. I think it is logical frankly. You are a 4 star guy and you signed with Georgia (or whatever blue blood team you want to talk about) and you find yourself behind 1 or two others at the same position and 5 star recruits are coming in at the same position and most likely getting $$$. Hell...this is where IOWA has to have some people LOOKING for these opportunities and bringing them into our program where they can start NOW. NIL is a bucket of crap but for now being in that second tier of teams CAN be a good thing.....need some dough though.
