Michigan Dems Abandon Biden - Vote Uncommitted in Primary

You realize that was a protest vote? To get Bidens attention. Mostly the Muslim-American community voicing their displeasure with how things are being handled with Israel and sending a message to Biden from the polls.

If you think these people are going to vote Trump in November after being vilified by him you're crazy.

Trump won by a lot, but the votes for Haley are GOP voters who want an alternative to Trump. Hard to say where they will vote in November.

Bottom line is both candidates had results last night that should worry them.

almost 3x as many people voted for Haley in the GOP primary as voted for "uncommitted" in the Dem primary

maybe tim will cover that in his next hard hitting video...

They've covered all the literal democrats voting for Nikki quite a bit lol

does that mean the "uncommitted" democrat voters are actually Republicans?

or does that only go one way?

Wasn't my point at all, and most of nikki's voters are actually democrats just trying to vote against Trump in the primary. She isn't a serious candidate but then again neither is joe biden, the left is just stuck with him. Even the party's core is not excited about him running.

No they aren’t but you Trumpies are pushing that crap because you’ve been easily led.
Or you’re a Trump troll.
The “Birdbrain Brigade” on full display right here.

Stuck is right. We are back to another election with the worst 2 candidates to pick from in all of America. We all say we want new, fresh ideas and younger candidates and then go on to nominate the 2 oldest guy who we know have records that will give us a glimpse of what a second term would look like.

Thing about Biden is he can grow his vote, where I don't think Trump is growing his voting base at all. The same fanatics that voted for him in 2016 and 2020 that make the most noise and get the most TV time. Recent primaries show that the GOP voters want an alternative to Trump so while Haley isn't going to ever win, its a sign they want a different choice. But if you look at the elections since 2020, voters have rejected Trump and those who he endorsed. Not sure 2024 why there is reason to think 2024 will be any different. The right keeps doubling down on abortion and now IVF, good luck with that getting families and women on your side.

I agree that both candidates are awful and wish we could have a vote of no confidence option which would force a new election with new candidates.

As far as voter gain/loss I think both biden and trump can actually make moves here. Every time the left indicts trump his polling goes up. The average citizen agrees that these trials are mostly nonsense and also ar being coordinated by the Whitehouse.

Biden needs a win if he's going to gain voters. He doesn't have many in 3 plus years, so what do you see him doing to get more votes?

If kennedy gets on the ballot as an independent he is going to steal more votes from both Biden and trump Than people want to admit. That said, the suburban woman vote is going to trend his way all day over biden and trump. This would end biden on its own.

The A-rabs will not vote for Biden too many dead A-rabs in GAZA. Will they vote for Trump probably not but Diapers Joe will not win in Michigan in November.

Yeah, I don't for one minute think those folks that voted uncommitted will vote for Trump. I just know they BOTH need to go. UGH!!

Their goal is pretty clear, which is to make sure Biden loses in November.

From CNBC:

For Arab Americans organizing across the country, the message is clear: No cease-fire, no vote.

Khalid Turaani, co-organizer of the Abandon Biden campaign, handed out pamphlets outside the Islamic Center of Detroit telling people to vote “uncommitted” on their ballots, and told the BBC in an interview published Tuesday that his group had made more than 30,000 calls with the same message.

“We’re doing all that we can to ensure that Biden is a one-term president,” Turaani said, according to the U.K. broadcaster. “In November, we will remember. When you stand against the will of the people, you’re going to lose.”

This is a December 3 story from Reuters. In the almost 3 months that have passed since this article, tens of thousands more Palestinians have been killed and Gaza has been further flattened by Israeli bombings.

Some excerpts:

Muslim Americans said they did not expect Trump to treat their community any better if reelected but saw denying Biden votes their only means to shape U.S. policy.

It remains to be seen whether Muslim voters would turn against Biden en masse, but small shifts in support could make a difference in states Biden won by narrow margins in 2020.

A recent poll showed Biden's support among Arab Americans has plunged from a comfortable majority in 2020 to 17%.

That could be decisive in a state like Michigan where Biden won by 2.8 percentage points and Arab Americans account for 5 percent of the vote, according to the Arab American Institute.

There are around 25,000 Muslim voters in Wisconsin, a state where Biden won by about 20,000 votes, said Tarek Amin, a doctor representing the state's Muslim community.

"We will change the vote, we will swing it," said Amin.

In Arizona, where Biden won by around 10,500 votes, there are over 25,000 Muslim voters according to the US Immigration Policy Center at the University of California San Diego, said Phoenix pharmacist Hazim Nasaredden.

"We will not stand with a man who has tainted a blue wave with red drops of blood," said Nasaredden.

Yeah, because Trump will stop Israel…
