I am not sure this is accurate…there is another stud at Mich that will be at 133 who as of last weekend was confident they were going to be the starter…

This year is an anomaly, in fact, all the fans of other teams complaining about how old the Hawkeyes are will literally all be in the same spot with their lineup eventually with the free year. Although since psu gray shirts (thought that was an ivy thing but ok) their lineup may be even older than most in the future. I don't know it's been specifically psu fans, but some people have been giving Iowa quite a bit of shit over how old the guys are. Those people's team will see the same thing...hypocrisy is always annoying, blatant hypocrisy more so.

All that said 133 will be one of the toughest weights at Nationals, along with 174 and heavy.

They posted on some page that Micic is going to 141. Said it came from him???

That would probably be Ragusin but I think he has a shirt.

Not unless he grew/improved a lot since last year or both Medley and Ragusin can’t make 125 anymore. He lost to Indiana’s backup last year.
Michigan has about as strong a track record as ANY school filling their guys out physically. I don't know if they "medicate" but, going back to Churella, Luke and Tannebaum they bumped those guys up 2 weights easily. All 3 looked like physical specimens and were Finalists. Now, they all had the wrestling skills to match, but McHenry was slick as hell, but woefully undersized. If he is indeed fully acclimated to 125, he could be a legit, high end threat!

This helps Iowa. Eierman more likely to beat Micic then Desanto
It helps Iowa more in a dual format, but not as much in a tournament setting. Michigan should score more tournament points this way and their upper weights are where they could make up the difference. 141 was going to be a considerable hole for UofM. Now, Micic could still take 3rdish, which was about as likely at 133 with how deep the weight is. But, the big difference is Ragusin is good enough to possibly sneak into the low end of the 133 podium. On top of that, IF, and that is a BIG IF, McHenry is truly filled into 125, he could be a AA threat as well.

This lineup at least has a chance to get all 10 on the podium, while Micic at 133 and Mattin at 141, leaves a zero possibility at 141:

125: McHenry
133: Ragusin
141: Micic
149: Storr
157: Lewan
165: Amine
174: Massa
184: Amine
197: Brucki
285: Parris
