Awesome! Thanks for the free link. This is going to make my day. I strongly dislike Missouri. With that being said, I hope they sweep NCST. I want them looking as strong on paper as possible coming into Carver next week. That'll make our victory over them that much sweeter.

Not a fan of Manley's 3-4-point stance at all. Not one shot in the entire 1st period, either. Would have dinged him at least once for stalling in the 1st.

Why does Manley, who's only 4 feet tall, feel the need to wrestle with one hand or both knees on the mat in neutral?

Are they wrestling in somebody's basement? My God those fans are right on top of the mat! (I think I'd try to get back a bit when the Big Boys start coming up! Ha!)

Agree. IMO Manley is stalling when he drops to two knees. Neither of these teams are very agressive.

Announcers said the real arena is getting a big renovation done.

I firmly believe Brody can beat Manley and Jack refs have to call the bs on Manley dropping down to both knees that is just a stalling move but they will let him get away with it.

Retherford will have a tough time with Mayes. He may gas him, but if not - I don't know . . .

Gantt seems like a great kid. Nice sportsmanship there from Barnes, too, after their match. Cool to see Gantt slapping hand with fans all the way around the mat.

Just my opinion I think Retherford will be to fast and slick for Mayes and yes he could also wear him out.

Big Tens are huge at 149. Would love to see Brandon sitting at the #1 seed with Retherford and Mayes having to scrap it out in the semis to face him Saturday night. Seems to be a pretty big drop-off after those top 3.

I don't think there's a 149-pounder any quicker than Mayes. IMO, the way Retherford beats him is with his relentless pressure, staying in the ties to keep away from Mayes' blast double. Retherford's ride is also obviously a killer. But I don't see Zain getting the better of Mayes much on their feet if he allows Mayes to shoot from space.

Can anyone tell me the team score I'm at my daughters and using her old computer and for some dam reason lost the streaming and when go back it starts from the beginning of the match again lol and I don't have the time to watch replay.

9-7 NcState.

You mean B1G is big for national seeding for the reason you mentioned, right? As Mayes isn't a B1G'er.

If I heard correctly, the winners have been

125-Mizzu 0-3
133-NcState 3-3
141- NcState 6-3
149- Mizzu (Major) 6-7
157- NcState 9-7

Lewis does his Mizzou victory tour around the mat. I hate Missouri!

NcState has to win 184
End first period ends 8-0, RT in Renda's favor at 1:36. (I'm just Pooh Bearing this information this from intermat blog).

Renda up 10( 1RT pt) to 0
Mizzu may be thinking about sending out Cody Johnston at 197 and J'Den Cox at 285
11-0 Renda is the final
Mizzu 14-NcState 13

J'Den Cox will go at 197 against Malik McDonald
Pinfall for Cox wins, even if Gwad gets a pin.

Cox obviously the big favorite, but not doing much at all in the 1st. Leaving the door open a little, at least.
