Hmm. This is in direct opposition to Buddhism. To a Buddhist, anything and everything is fodder for self-reflection. This is one of my favorite things about Buddhism. There’s the rejection of self, anatta, which I find incredibly powerful, but also deep reflection of self and the meaning of self.
