He never blew up. Michigan St. was his only P5 offer and they only offered late in the recruiting process after they lost out on some higher rated recruits. He was a 3 star, outside the top 150 until he committed to Mich St. Fran and other P5 schools had a real chance to lock him up early.

LSU's players are tall and skinny. What's with that? I thought you had to be built like a brick outhouse to play championship basketball these days. Of course, the tall skinny guys are getting clobbered by the less athletic team from the Big Ten, so there's that.
