As a Pacers fan, I love this move. Hali+Siakim+Turner+a roster of young talented dudes. Already had the leagues top offense, incredibly fun team to watch.

On the floor they called a foul on Allen after Derozen releases the shot. Shot goes thru, foul called on Allen. Allen gets up yelling that Derozen made contact with him after the shot and pulled him down.
Sun's challenged the foul call on Allen, refs review, then shock everyone by wiping off basket and called the foul on Derozen, even tho he clearly released the ball before any contact with Allen. Crazy.
Also with 1.6 seconds the Bulls set up an alley-oop to pat Williams that worked perfect as he got his hands on the ball going to the rim and was fouled...they said he was on the floor and called a blocking foul so no fts....home-crowd reffing or fixed.
Both were correct calls.
It doesn’t matter if the ball was released before the offensive foul occurred; points cannot be scored on an offensive foul. When a shooter sticks out his leg after releasing the ball and gets called for an offensive foul, they don’t count the basket either.
The contact on the alley-oop to Williams occurred before he gathered the ball, so it is not a shooting foul.
Not a fan of either team, but watched the 4th quarter and thought those were both correct. You can wait for the L2M Report if you want, but would be shocked if it says either of those calls was incorrect.
