Meyer = Moore. no points, no help, no motivation. Don't have the Championship mentality. He's an average wrestler and for a team with Iowa's history, we have way to many average wrestlers. Makes it hard to get back to where we want to be.

The crazy thing is there have been a bunch worse losses than Meyer, he was barely seeded. #3 at 184 Avery goes down to dude with losing record.

This isn't the Iowa wrestling I grew up with. This is beyond frustrating to watch. We're never the first to offense, never the first to shoot, rarely the first to score, and we don't wrestle for 7 minutes. There's absolutely no urgency. This could be the first practice of the year with the urgency they show as easy as it could be the damn National Championships! I don't get it. You ask can get mad at me or tell me I'm crazy but I know what I'm looking at and it isn't pretty so far today. They clearly haven't learned from the last 5 years of battling Penn State what it takes to win a team title.

Never is an overworked word.
