Refs will swallow their whistle especially at home if they see players diving on floor and putting out maximum effort. THis 2nd half
is one of the few times they've put it all out on defense.

Ol' Doodle apologizes if this has already been covered....but has Iowa ever had two 30-point scorers in a single game? Seems like it may have happened, but Doodle can't personally recall it.
I'd prefer a PaySandfort that does well in both halves, but yeah, 30 points in a half is why we say he has "microwave ability".

Reminds me of the game uthoff had against ISU a few years back when he went off in the first half and didn’t do anything in the second half. Think he had like 30 in one half and 0 in the other half as well.
