Has this soap opera concluded yet? Way to many threads on this kid.

Season can't start quick enough..to much rub recipes and food talk in general on this board

Where Sans at to inject some semblance of wrestling levity back to the board?

My thoughts are that a Suriano transfer is likely if he can get the B1G waiver. If he cannot, a big decision is upcoming. The holdup on news is the wait for a decision/wink/nod to be made by Delaney. My hunch is that the Suriano family won't like the news and will have a tough decision to make. Go where you want and lose a year of competition or stay at PSU. Problem is that bridges have already been set on fire, so the ending to this will likely not be pretty where ever he ends up.

My language was imprecise. One can ask the B1G in advance what criteria are that judgment will be made upon and past decisions that were made and for what reasons.
Says who? Who can ask?

Does Mr. Suriano call Delaneys office and ask to be transferred to the office of transfer appeals? Or is it an automated B1G thing and you just press "4"?

I didn't like your first post very much, so will respond to this one. ;)

We can be sure the B1G keeps track of all eligibilty rulings they have made and the criteria that was used to rule for/against the athlete. It doesnt seem too out there to assume that a phone call to the commissioners office might yield a general idea from a staffer as to where Suriano's circumstances fall into past decisions. Having an idea as to whether his situation is within the boundaries of past positive rulings is no different than a lawyer giving odds for success in a future trial based on past decisions.

Do you actually believe the stuff that you post here?

Serious question.

Why do people sometimes state that they are asking a serious question? Is it because their questions usually cannot be taken seriously?

Ad hominem attacks just aren't that useful on message boards. That post of mine was poorly written and didn't express my thoughts clearly as shown in a subsequent post I made. If you had taken the time to read the entire thread rather than perform a drive-by, maybe it would have saved you valuable seconds on a Saturday night.

The problem is that you have been slipping fairly consistently in your posts.

So far in this thread you have claimed that 90% of the people who comment in public about the Penn State pedophile scandal and ensuing cover up are making upset comments because the NCAA overreached to get rid of those involved with the scandal and cover up. Leaving only 10% of people who thought that someone at Penn State did something wrong by covering up for a child abuser and allowing him to continue preying on children.

Then you claim that Suriano is waiting for a wink/nod agreement to be in place with Jim Delaney or one of his staffers before this transfer stuff is worked out.

I know it is the "silly season" when non-wrestling discussions are basically all that takes place, but your comments are just pure nonsense. This is why no one goes to BWI to get any valid information.

If you're banned, you can't lurk. Or so I'm told.:p

If a school's forums has triple the number of banned accounts as any other school's rivals page, do you think it is because of the posters or overly sensitive moderators?. Now granted I'm sure the majority of bans came from the football forum. It would be interesting to see the actual ban breakdown on various rivals boards.

So what in the article is inaccurate?

This part: "Either way, it will be the biggest national college wrestling news of the offseason"

PD3 & Lugo to Iowa are bigger than this. Suriano has never even wrestled in the NCAA tourney.
