What should we discuss boyz? Garden is still doing well, I'm going fishing this weekend, I'm ready for a beer, and there were copious amounts of hot women at my gym this morning...sorry no pics.

How about a good ole' fashion post a pic on what you think the person who posted above you looks like. We haven't done that in years.

My garden sucks and I don't go to the gym. I am however going to the Iowa game Saturday and plan to drink copious amounts of alcohol. I'd like to hit up DT after the win and check out the "talent".

Any new shows looking good for the fall? The one with the girl with the strange tattoos looks like it could be interesting.

I watch very little tv if it's not sports. Even then I don't watch much, so I have nothing for you.

That's good Derek...rid yourself of the garden butthurt.

Speaking of butthurt, a friend and former employee flew in from Texas. We are going to have a little get together tonight. I was willing to blanch tomatoes last night but oh know, that wasn't going to work by God. So now, she thinks instead of going out and raising a little hell with a friend I haven't seen in a year I should stay home and blanch f'ing tomatoes? Come on man.

What the hell is blanching tomatoes? The garden butthurt is strong with me. It would appear that you can't just plant shit wherever and expect it to grow well. And how the hell was I suppose to know that broccoli grows to the size of a small tree and flowers out in 2 min??? The cucumber plants overtook the garden and the potatoes, who knows. Yikes. Rough first effort for me and Scotty boy.

As for tonight's dilemma, just go out and get plastered. If you stay home and "blanch" tomatoes, I'm having Storff take your man card tomorrow.

Blanching is a way to freeze tomatoes. Mrs. Jelly is pretty sure the world will end if I don't get it done soon. FML.

Speaking of gardens, I re-seeded about 3,000 square feet in my back yard on Sep. 4th with 100% Kentucky Bluegrass, and it's doing awesome. If I really wanted, I could mow it at .75" and basically have a fairway for a lawn.

That had nothing to do with gardens, I know, but it gave me a chance to brag up all the little turflets that are loving life in Shueyville. For those that don't know, turflets are newly germinated grass seeds.

Also, I get to attend a tailgating function tomorrow at the University Athletic Club. My wife is in the MBA program, and this is some special get-together for people in the program. I hope it doesn't suck. What DOES suck is that my wife couldn't care less about sports, so when I say, "Hey, let's go see if we can get some good tickets for the game!", her reaction will not be of glee and acceptance.

Can you come work on my yard? I mean that in the most literal sense.

S******* is clogged again. I'm not the one that does it, but, I'm the one that fixes it. Pretty sure the minister never mentioned this. To be fair, the scourge of low flow toilets hadn't infested America when I was married.

Tomatoes all went belly up last week. Withered and died in a week. Blight I suppose. I only have five plants this year, but, it sucks. The Old German's were starting to look plump.
