I agree, it would definitely motivate Clark to prove the voters wrong and show out against SC & Boston. It’s obvious to everyone but a few SEC meat heads that Clark is the NPOTY.

Timme gets the Lifetime Achievement Award for a decade in college.
Wish they’d wait until the season was over to announce this stuff. I get they do it now because of the publicity, but it’s a distraction from the games if some players being nominated are still playing. Not saying it should automatically go to the player that wins the national championship, but the most important games of the season should be taken into account as well.
The same goes for COY imo too. Does the Indiana coach still deserve it after what Lisa just did (or any coach in the second weekend and beyond at this point)? They had a great season but didn’t make it to the second weekend. Let’s reward people for rising up and playing well during the part of the season that matters most.
