CJB gets sacked with 9 seconds left at the 40 yard line, we have timeouts left and he lets it run to half. Not a major deal but seriously makes no sense.

I don't have problem with it. They were going to take a shot and didn't pull it off on 1st down. Likelihood of scoring with 9 seconds left from that field position is not high. Old kirk wold have taken knee on 1st down.

Listening to the Badger broadcast here on the Mississippi River...they are worried. No running game, Bad Stave, not sustaing drives any more, Iowa pounding away.

Lafay is a damn good announcer too.

Love how the game is progressing...and if it's if as windy in Madison as it is here, I bet passing/kicking is hard.

On plays like the last one before half and the redzone throws Tevaun I think was missed. So can't be too harsh on the offense. Gotta keep playing hard in all phases.

Beathard is having a better game than Stavi.
Yeah, i think they could gone with with Sideline Timeout instead of going into half time with 3 timeouts.
we used one before the punt so we were down to 2. Letting the clock expire after the sack was the correct call. No reason to risk another sack and possible injury to CJ. Better to go into the half without surrendering momentum.

Man have not felt this way in a long time with Iowa football, could be such a big turning point in the directions of both programs for next several years. Pleaseeee don't blow this.

The indigent anger, like it was the world's stupidest call, is so dumb.

So it is your contention that it was a logical call? There are risks within reason and there are risks that are not smart. At home I have lesser issue with it. But on the road in Madison, and the way the game was played to that point, that call was extremely questionable.

On the first drive, do we anticipate Wisconsin's moves to clog the running lanes by coming out throwing or continue as is? Hope our WRs come to play, they will be called upon at crucial times...
