I posted this on the OT but thought it deserved posting here too. DP makes a great point in addressing the the reluctance to admit Caitlin changed the league. Doing so doesn't diminish anyone else.

She is white bread, and I say that as a cracker. About the only thing I disagree with in that post is CC22 showed up and took an 11 win team to the playoffs. I went and looked at some of this Tiauna's posts. She does get some real nasty "Clarkies" posting crap, BUT, she gives as well as she receives. To one poster she replied "Caitlin needs to leave the W. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. She exhibits SCHOOL SHOOTER behavior." Holy hell.
Her detractors, like those above, are obviously many. As we can unfortunately see they will use ANYTHING, like white privilege imo, against her. They don't play nice.
So in regards to Caitlin's comments, while I do think she was being sincere, if she was also hoping it would help her in any way it so far definitely hasn't and won't ... ever. I'm afraid she just fed the beast. But of course, she kinda IS the W ... she'll survive quite nicely, lol.

As I said Natalie Esquire is an NBC reporter/commentator of some sort. And of course we had the Mystic's owner going stupid.
I mean you can ignore people like this, but occasionally they need to be pushed back upon.

Liberty and the Aces are both to big and deep for us to compete with them currently. That’s a nice Big 3 but we’re way too small and not deep enough to truly compete for a championship yet. Have to figure out the 4 (please God not Smith) backup to Boston, (losing Temi hurts ) and while I think Lexie can start and keep getting better we need another Small Forward to play 15-18 minutes. All pretty big pieces. I think CC will only be better under an experienced coach and she looks much bigger and stronger. Just need to keep adding pieces.
