Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. You apparently believe the foul was “an act of violence” worthy of arrest and criminal prosecution lol.

If a flow to the game was allowed to happen and you had a coach who could utilize the talent they had a more watchable product would be presented.and what's scary is that these supposedly are the 144 best players they can find (12 teams x 12 players)
By your criteria, Barry Sanders never succeeded at a high level. Your criteria is stupid.I understand plenty, including that Kelsey Plummer's name is actually Kelsey Plum.
I haven't downplayed CC's success. I've stated that what she is doing is impressive. At the same time, I don't believe it's accurate to say she is "succeeding at a very high level."
This would involve winning. And again, I would bet money that CC agrees with me
You got the longliveCS40 part rightBy your criteria, Barry Sanders never succeeded at a high level. Your criteria is stupid.
The Fever will need to a acquire more talent before winning will be possible. Caitlin is already one of the best players in the league.
tenacious comeback!Reading comprehension is not your strong suit.
Well, it’s that, or you are intellectually dishonest, dumb, or you love you some hot take hyperbole.Tenacious comeback!
even more tenacious!Well, it’s that, or you are intellectually dishonest, dumb, or you love you some hot take hyperbole.
League fines Chicago Sky for ain't answering no questions.
Correct! If they dismissed the refs they'd have to get 3 people out of the stands. I guess that would be an upgrade.
What's with the unbalanced schedules? Indiana plays their 11th game tonight. Three teams have only played 6 and four others have played 7. This league is a joke.
This is my point. The WNBA will continue to grow and attract more fans for a number of reasons. Clark is a big reason why. There will be huge numbers to watch her play until she retires. Expansion and even larger revenues on the horizon.Clowns. Want to watch backstage WWE drama. Not basketball.
Again, I don’t think the words “hysteria” or “hysterical” mean what you think they mean. This is my point. The WNBA will continue to grow and attract more fans for a number of reasons. Clark is a big reason why. There will be huge numbers to watch her play until she retires. Expansion and even larger revenues on the horizon.
But, like it or not, you can’t ignore the drama generated by hysterical fans. What will Angel Reese do next? Will she / should she be fined? How will Caitlin Clark respond? Will the Fever sign an “enforcer”? Stay tuned!
The whole thing has gotten weird. That Chennedy dude posted this, and that sent the Twitter verse into a frenzy. You got people attacking Wheeler, asking why they won’t stick up for their teammate. So, I guess the entire Fever team is getting called out on social media for not responding aggressively? Because it has to sort itself with violence, or something? Or insinuated that they are complicit, or something?
That's just asking people to jump into a no-win situation any way you go about it. C'mon, clearly Boston has a rising career commentating on television, and she has to protect that. And other women will be seen as traitors to their WNBA senior sorority, possibly villified. How does it end? People want an actual fight, I guess. Is this just the build-up of the fight card?
It's asking a great deal. I feel bad for the team.
Clark herself can't win here because if they change the game away from this cartoonish mockery of basketball, she will be blamed for every flagrant foul or fine across the league. And if they simply allow it to continue, they create a sh*tstorm of escalations, and a toxic environment to play the game.
She didn't ask for, nor deserve, any of it, and yet people will take it out on her, and just hate her more.
I'm not looking forward to how it plays out, because it's all pretty frustrating and sad.
The weirdest thing I keep seeing is this idea that this is how the WNBA has always been, and this is expected, and people are somehow proud of the rugby and hazing. Just... no. This is what is being rejected (and not just regarding CC), part of why this basketball league has struggled to keep the lights on. Yeah, thank you for the introduction to watching the W, and huh, I now see why it's a crap product. Maybe play some clean basketball-- and get better at it.
Could somebody translate? The whole thing has gotten weird. That Chennedy dude posted this, and that sent the Twitter verse into a frenzy. You got people attacking Wheeler, asking why they won’t stick up for their teammate.
I’m cool with CC’s teammates, now what?Could somebody translate?
Often times, players are a reflection of their coach. What will happen next? It’s cut off there, but Chennedy replied in a tweet:
& that's that on that cause beside three point shooting
what does she bring to the table man
I totally agree with this. I guess I don’t understand thugs begetting more thugs. So, I guess the entire Fever team is getting called out on social media for not responding aggressively? Because it has to sort itself with violence, or something? Or insinuated that they are complicit, or something?

Is bad luck something that is meant to be a reflection of a head coach?Often times, players are a reflection of their coach. What will happen next?
CorrectThe NBA has spent decades and billions of dollars carefully curating its public image, on and off the court. That's David Stern's greatest legacy. The WNBA has spent the past 25 years ignored in the shadows. All of a sudden the brightest lights are being shined on it and it's exposing itself as an underdeveloped podunk league. The teams, coaches, players, referees, announcers, et al. have never had to live up to any standard before and now everybody expects them to turn into a legitimate top-level professional league overnight. It will take some time for everyone to adjust, but just understand for the time being everything will be a shit show because there are very few people involved who are up to the task.
Is that what it's called these days?Is bad luck something that is meant to be a reflection of a head coach?

Depends on the sport.......Is that what it's called these days?
Enough so to even bring @IowasLaw out of hibernation briefly.Caitlin Clark, changing the game and forum discourse.
Honestly the league could PAY here $1000 to skip press conferences and I’d be happy. I won’t watch TV for catfights, I want to watch entertaining ball and the W maybe just ain’t it.She occasionally says the right thing but she can’t hide her stripes. Pays lip service to the league having new popularity but is in denial as to why. Just wholly unlikeable. There aren’t that many likable players really. Probably Boston and plum. And of course Martin.
I think Boston was shocked, and she’s too nice to shove someone in anger. Also Clark only got bumped down, not punched in the face. Prefer to see professional behavior not some female Draymond myself. What I found interesting is that no teammate of Clark’s stuck up for her when Carter hip checked her. One teammate ran the opposite way down the court. The closest teammate was the one that should have gotten in Carter’s face and perhaps knocked her on her butt. Instead she haphazardly walked over to Caitlyn. That of itself is troubling. During the NCAA or NBA games when a teammate falls or gets knocked down, at least 3 teammates literally sprint over to help the dude up. That tells me that Clark’s teammates are not on her side either. Just like Colorado Coach Prime said “When one fight, you all fight”. That didn’t happen and it should. Until Clark’s teammates stick for her moving forward, this bullying is going to get worse.
100% agree on this take. So, I guess the entire Fever team is getting called out on social media for not responding aggressively? Because it has to sort itself with violence, or something? Or insinuated that they are complicit, or something?

Yep.
I kind of chuckle at all the people, in this forum even, that are crying for Clark's teammates and coaches to do more to stick up for her.
There's has and continues to be lots of generalizations and presumptions/assumptions when it comes to everything Caitlin Clark and this sh** is no different.
And Sides is also stuck in a no-win situation because when she does stick up for Clark, people will say oh it's just because she was getting so much criticism for "not having her back".
