The thing about this game that’s weird to me is that they are playing like this rivalry game means everything to them and we don’t seem to care. The interesting part is their whole team got to Ames like a week ago so why would they care? And why do we not?
End of the day they just seem to be a tough team that plays HARD. We should have more to play for in this game and we couldn’t be more flat.

Ulis and joeT are good solid guards, I'll take them over Ellingsen and CMAC at PG.
Clearly Fran botched it not being able to pull in a Brockington or the guy that Illinois brought in
that just torched us. Going with JBO as a starter and CMAC at the 6th or 7th guy on roster
is completely nuts.
JBO is not the shooting guard a lot of people were claiming was his true position. He has always shot best
off the dribble and now that he's no longer PG, he no longer has the ball in his hands.
Every team or opposing player has their best game game against Iowa. It’s like the sun rising in the east.

The people on this board and the so-called Iowa media are hilarious. Iowa sits at 0-2 in the Big 10 and have beaten teams at home that are an absolute joke for a non-conference schedule. Virginia isn't any good after losing to Navy and James Madison. And yet they think this team can make some noise. FYI, this team can't shoot, can't rebound and can't defend so prepare for a long season.
