Agree. But I think we're more likely to pick up 1st downs and sustain drives by spreading them out and completing occassional passes than by running for 2-3 yards

It doesn't matter. Passing plays are automatic lost yardage plays right now. Running plays "guarantee" we lose only 1 yard. If Iowa can stay within 10 at half maybe they'll wake up, but I don't see it happening. Ohio State played better last week than Iowa is playing this week. Except for Iowa's D. They've been amazing considering.
