We are already 0-2 in the B1G. We need this win tonight badly. I think we take down the terps. Go Hawks!
Either Maryland or Iowa will join Little Debbie as the only winless (in conference games) teams in the B1G.

0 minutes on bench with foul trouble
And we wonder why IOWAs defense is soft…..
7th on team in rebounding and blocks/minute,
but dead last in fouls/mimute
only ahead of guards like Jobo, JoeT, Ulis, Perkins,
PMac basically plays like a guard that can’t shoot 3’s….
and is why Kris Murray, Ogundele should be playing more….

Iowa resumes classes two weeks from today, I believe.
NW nearly knocked off #10 Sparty yesterday in Evanston, and the awful Huskers took #13 Ohio State into OT before finally taking the loss in Lincoln last night. If Iowa is going to do any damage in the BIG and draw a decent seed in the NCAA, the Hawkeyes just about have to win @ home tonight. And I hope that those brave souls who show up at Carver make some noise. Otherwise, why bother?

We may not have an easier game left on the schedule, that's my point.
Pats rebounding is atrocious, but no way that blocked shot figure is correct. Seems he gets at least 1 a game. Had the game saver against Virginia.
Nice attack. So because he doesn't foul a lot he plays bad defense? Like the guards do? How is that even logical?
I guess if you take away the players names and look at his numbers, you would say this 6 9” player doesn’t rebound, block, steal or any defensive metric well.
this player is no better than 7th of all the forwards, Centers,
you would say this player plays interior defense more like a PG than a 6 9” forward.
5 fouls in 11 games and the poorest defensive metrics in the team of all the interior guys.
but you can say that he’s the only player that hasn’t lost any game minutes owing to foul trouble…
so he’s the best in the team at that….
I would say that the block shots are accurate,
and that when he wants to he can protect the rim he can, particularly when the game Is in the last 5 seconds and there’s no possibility of losing playing time to foul trouble
He’s actually been shooting the ball halfway decent. It’s the off balanced runners in the lane that have got him in trouble
I understand Pat’s limitations for what they are and why they exist. He’s frustrating at times but at times he flashes what could have been if not for his illness.
Watching him on the point of the press, he does a damn good job. And he keeps his man in front of him. Part of the reason he doesn't have blocks is because he plays mostly perimeter players, small forwards or 3-guards, in Iowa's normal lineup. You won't see PMac down low very often.
And yes, there is something to say for someone who doesn't have to foul to recover. Watch him play defense and you'll see why he doesn't get called often. He's quick for 6'9".

His poor defense is a fact. A 6'9 dude trying to stay with opponent guards---not happening. Yes, you can hide him in a zone and he is solid offensive player. His rebounding numbers are what should limit his PT. PMAC is a top8 player, but he is soft as a player. I personally like Kris and Sandforts games better.
Gonna go ahead and say it cuz I know we're all thinking it..... sure hope this Purdue v Wisconsin game doesn't go to overtime 😬
Wisky getting away with their usual moving screens and holds. Mighty mite is reffing so the calls are inconsistent as usual.
I kinda wish we had the nut-puncher on our side of the court….
