Frankly that was one of his more endearing qualities. The way a blue blood guy from Yale could pull off country was admirable.

Seriously, could you imagine whatever party line, Washington insider, hack that's going to be Hillary's VP candidate, trying to debate Jesse whiles he's frothing at the mouth? Never knowing if Jesse was going to lose it and just stick them right in their eye socket? I mean, who wouldn't want to see the douche bag that Hillary picks, get stuck right in the eye?

I guess Kasich stays in through Ohio to make sure Trump doesn't win that winner takes all state. He then controls a lot of delegates going into a potentially brokered convention. A lot of talk tonight of a Rubio/Kasich ticket.
Sounds like a decent combination. Probably locks up Florida and Ohio. Would certainly appeal to moderates, but hasn't the GOP gone down this road the past couple elections? I would think the GOP would run the risk of losing its more conservative voters. Obviously they aren't going to vote for Hillary, but they might just stay home. The same is true of the crazy Trump voters too.
Some of the moderate/liberal posters on HROT have written about how they like Kasich and would probably vote for him. Would this apply if he was the VP? Would moderates break for Rubio/Kasich? My sense is not enough to offset the loss of the more conservative voters.
No, the GOP has always been about electing the guy who's next in line. Nixon lost to Kennedy but was given the nod in '68. Ford beat Reagan and lost to Carter. Reagan won four years later. Then there was Bob Dole. Bush beat McCain. Then it was McCain's turn.
If you were honest with yourself you'd admit the Dems are.just as bad - if not worse.
I would argue a good chunk of Trump voters in NH and SC are voters who either have not voted before or have voted democrat. I think it is more likely that Sanders voters do not support Hillary than Republican Trump supporters do not vote for the nominee if it is not Trump.
It's not even close IF Hillary is telling more truth than fiction regarding her e-mails. If Hillary goes down.......I might pray for help. There isn't another fit candidate...maybe Kasich. Congress is so damn dysfunctional they will be of no help. Boyz....I said it before...we'ze in serious trouble if a couple of things happen. Trump, Cruz or Rubio will have us in a war that they don't understand. Kiss your sons and daughters or grandkids good-bye!
