I could’ve sworn I heard that promise last year. I’ve been won over to @SPOONER’s suggestion to give everyone 5 years total. No exceptions for any reason.
I’ve always liked the idea of 4 post seasons in five years. No limit on matches in season. Plug and play your guys as u see fit. Maybe keep the Oly year but nix the medical.
He went in do not contact. Have heard Oklahoma which shocked me . So I don't believe he's taking calls. I know a few teams have tried and he's not answering
ya i heard ohio st but i also heard oklahoma. was hoping for iowa but i think 157 might be in house for next year. which doesn't thrill me.
I don’t hate it. If this is the portal haul we take into next season it still gets an A grade. Filling 5 spots with potential AAs through transfers Isnt realistic year over year. 8-10 ranked in the top 8 to start the year is a pretty good place to be. Actually excited for it
I think a healthy VV will be solid at 157. Finishing was his issue if he's learned how to finish he will do well
VV is on par with Keller — it’s really a toss up. Keller does not add much to our lineup.
Now, Fishback at 97 helps us a lot !!!

If we fill 197, sure. If we don’t, that’s a problem IMHO.
Kellar was on the podium his last healthy season. VV wasn’t and he’s moving up a weight to 157. Kellar would be better but sounds like he’s already going elsewhere.
Not going to pretend 197 is ideal but if this is the team that gets rolled out it’s hard not to give an A effort for the off season.
I feel like they grabbed the 3 best available portal transfers any need weights and add Mocco and Bassett. I won’t complain.
Disagree. Keller has limited offense and very good on top. Let’s wait until the end of the year to actually say what the better option would have been. Franek was ahead of the VV so he never had the chance to AA.
Voinovich lost the 149 spot to Rathjen (and Ferrari)
VV has always been 149. He wasn’t behind Franek as Franek was 157.
Kellar has been on the podium at this weight and VV hasn’t even wrestled it, let alone been on the podium at 149. VV couldn’t even beat out Rathjen. We are just talking achievements for now.
All true. But, VV was hurt most of last year. I still say he’s as good as Keller
If you keep the Oly, there has to be a change in the rules so that you have to at least qualify for and participate in (unless injured) the actual Olympic trials. You can't have people getting an ORS because they need a free year to deal with sexual assault issues and can't get into a school anywhere or because they decided to switch sports and try out for the NFL. That's just an embarrassment to the sport.

They are silly and there is no reason to keep them. It is fantastically rare in recent years for a collegiate wrestler to make the Olympic team. Yet qualifying for one is comparatively quite easy. Like seriously, a cadet world team? Ridiculous.

He's as good as an AA up a weight? I'll be tickled if this is the case but I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I agree with everything you said, but not getting Elam stung a bit. I think he was the best available via the portal at a need weight. Bailey probably number 2. (and no AJ doesn’t count). All in all the staff has done amazing work these past several off seasons. Gotta stay healthy.

His hair totally clashes with the Oklahoma singlet, would have been better in BLACK. Back-2-back could have been the Gingers with Keller and Cali!
