This was a good game for Iowa. Wasn't a blowout like I selfishly wanted for my own personal comfort, but it was a real test to get them ready for the next 2 games; @ UM and @ OSU.

The D in the 2nd half was the difference. Who the hell thought that could ever be said about an Iowa team!?

PSU is athletic and starts a lineup comprised of all upperclassmen. Garza and Bohannon both broke records, and we got a win. Can’t complain tonight!

Sometimes you have to win ugly. Hell of a lot better than looking pretty and losing. BTW that’s 5 straight holding opponents under 70. Iowa will be a tough out if that trend continues.
