Welp that cost me some money.
Sometimes you have to win ugly. Hell of a lot better than looking pretty and losing. BTW that’s 5 straight holding opponents under 70. Iowa will be a tough out if that trend continues.
Never in doubt fellaz![]()
He probably bet on Iowa to cover the 10.5 point spreadYou bet against Iowa, playing at home against Penn State? Hope you lost some serious money.

I mean in some places that would catch you a beating. Thinking of your safety is allI knew it as soon as I hit ENTER.
Subtract two to three years off of that.So 100 conference wins in 11 years?
One thing I'm definitely not going to miss after this season is watching Bohannon pounding the ball into the court 40 feet from the basket while the shot clock goes under 10 when Iowa is nursing a tenuous lead.
Yeah used to do the same thing with Gesell. He’d drive into the lane and toss up an awful layup attempt as time expired. Gotta keep running the offense in a single digit difference game until around the minute mark. 3 minutes is way too much time to go into a shellOur end of game milking the clock offense leaves a lot to be desired. That’s always been an issue regardless of who is running the point.

That's because we shouldn't do it. At least we shouldn't do it with a six point lead with a minute and a half to play. That's just dumb. I would much rather put two points on the board than take 25 seconds off the clock then vomit up a prayer as the shot clock expires. Our end of game milking the clock offense leaves a lot to be desired. It would seem a better strategy (and I’m guessing what most other teams do based on games I’ve watched) is to run your offense but be more picky with your shot selection. If you get a great look that’s an easy bucket you take it. If not keep running the offense and if you have to take a wild shot at the end, so be it.That's because we shouldn't do it. Joe T didn't get enough playing time.PSU is athletic and starts a lineup comprised of all upperclassmen. Garza and Bohannon both broke records, and we got a win. Can’t complain tonight!
If Fran didn't want it that way he wouldn't do it.J Bo likes the stage. He typically runs it down with the ball in his hand so he takes the big shot. We ‘be got some shooters just run our stuff and look for Luka.
He didn’t play well at all. Neither did Nunge. They both satJoe T didn't get enough playing time.
Not yet. He's the greatest scorer in Iowa history. The teams he's played on have accomplished very little. Not his fault.Luka Garza. The greatest player in Iowa basketball history.

Absolutely. Run the offense, but only take the shot if it's wide open. Bohannon dribbling in the corner makes it too easy on the defense. It gives them a chance to catch their breath and get into better position for that desperation puke we put up as the shot clock expires. It would seem a better strategy (and I’m guessing what most other teams do based on games I’ve watched) is to run your offense but be more picky with your shot selection. But to have your planned strategy to have one guy dribble out the clock and then huck up a wild shot...idk. Got to come up with something better come tourney time.
