***OFFICIAL Purdue AT IOWA GAME THREAD***

Interesting that they can score on Swanigan when they take it right at him because he seems to be trying really hard to back off an not foul.

that foul call was total bull crap. I am rarely one to complain about calls but JoBo had clean block
That call is in the running for worst call of the month. I can't believe we are getting hosed on our floor and we aren't even playing MSU.

In fairness, it was either free throws or a layup for Purdue on that fast break. Bohanon(sp?) got the ball, but it went straight to Thompson who laid it in at the whistle with no other Hawkeyes around. Honestly, if it were reversed, I would've wanted the foul instead of the easy bucket.

Jok please don't force anything.

Let's work for a good shot just like we've been doing to get back in the game.

Why has it become a pattern where Moss hardly gets any minutes in second halfs?

Haven't seen many of Iowa's games this year. Don't know how this game will turn out, but for the Hawk fans there is a lot to like here:
  • I don't think I have seen a smoother quick release jumper than Jok has. He has the sweetest stroke I have seen this year.
  • Loved the two man game with Jok and Cook. Surprised they haven't run it more as Purdue couldn't stop it. Didn't work as well with Pemsl.
  • The freshmen are gamers. The mental strength they will have as they mature will be enhanced with the big game experience they are getting so early. They don't back down.
  • Cook has a great offensive mindset and has gone to the boards more aggressively tonight than what I had read about him.
  • If you had a true ball handler, Bohannon would be scary coming off screens with his stroke.
