Mulkey is as big of a b as she appears. Met her at the CWS a few years back and she’s about as friendly as she looks. It looks like the only thing worse than her personality is her style and makeup

Great challenge for staff and guards: find ways to get Mack and Davis and Doyle rhythm threes. Defensively I think they’ll have a better half.

Ehhhh that's kind of the difference between the women and the men.
There are nights where they're missing plenty of these point blank shots.
The key though is whether or not they can continue to play solid defense and win the rebound battle, to give themselves a chance.
Megan is still getting points. It was always gonna be about the other 4 on the floor stepping up to the challenge to prove they can hang with the #1 team in the country.

Baylor’s length is in their head. You can tell every time we shoot, they think it’s getting blocked.
I think there were at least three uncontested misses that I saw. I’m not counting the contested drives to the basket that were off. Baylor’s players too tall to get most of those to fall (forcing us to change our shot)
Davis looks so intimidated when driving. There is zero reason Gustafson shouldn’t touch the ball on every possession. She has a very distinct advantage vs Baylor’s bigs.

Even when they are getting good looks the shots are rushed, not looking confident shooting save for Doyle’s 3s.
Having only 1 really good / great player will only take a team so far. I mean, the Baylors/Stanfords/UCONNs of the world put 4 or 5 great players on the court. Baylor only having 1 loss in a season is unbelievable..
